Since the last update, the 40 ready-made Opening Lab repertoires have gained around 3,600 explanatory notes created with the help of AI. They highlight plans, move-order subtleties, tactical ideas, and reasons why tempting alternatives may not work.
In addition, before importing a repertoire, you can now choose Explore Key Positions. This guided tour leads through frequently reached positions across the main branches, showing the relevant explanations and practical game results at each stop.
Handling comments from uploaded PGNs and Lichess Studies has also improved. You can review and edit imported comments and specify when each note should appear: whenever the same position is reached, after a particular move, or only within that exact move order. Course introductions are retained separately and Opening Lab PGN exports preserve these comments for reimport. As before, imported library repertoires (and now also most comments) are fully editable.
The Opening Lab repertoire library has grown substantially. It now includes additional full repertoires and much broader coverage of specific openings, including several sharper, more aggressive options.
These free, pre-made repertoires use sound lines and focus on positions that matter most in practical play. They are intended as strong starting points that you can customize to suit your own preferences.
For now, the repertoire lines do not include explanatory comments. I may add these later if I find a reliable way to produce explanations that are genuinely useful without making the library difficult to maintain.
I have also addressed a Daily Training issue reported by a user, in which moves could be repeated before the “Daily Training Needs Refresh” message appeared. Daily Training should now recover the affected plan and continue with the remaining work instead of entering this loop, while preserving work already completed.

I've reorganized the ready-made Opening Lab repertoires. Alongside complete repertoires for White and Black, you'll now find Deep Dives into specific openings: four for White and four for Black to start. More will follow.
I've also refined how these repertoires are built so they provide a stronger starting point. You can edit any of them to suit your own preferences and playing style.
Comments from courses and studies now carry over more reliably when you import or export a repertoire. Courses and studies attach comments to lines, while Opening Lab organizes moves by position. I've worked on preserving the right guidance as those formats meet.
